Hello all again,
Perhaps you might be able to point me in the right direction. I have to prepare a solution of CuCl dissolved in Acetonitrile, but am having a problem
determining what quantities of each substance to mix together. I just want enough Acetonitrile to dissolve the CuCl into, not much more.
Can anyone tell me how you go about determing such information, or point me to a resource that can exlpain it?
Any help much appreciated.

1) Decide what volume of saturated CuCl in CH3CN you want.
2) Measure out the desired volume of CH3CN
3) Start dissolving small measured quantities of CuCl until no more dissolves.
4) Filter to remove excess CuCl2
5) If you are curious, dry and weigh the undissolved CuCl to see how much actually dissolved.
