Double salts storage stability

Hi,

is there any experience or database out there concerning silver acetylide/nitrate salts storage stability?

There wont be any light, but a little air contact (inside a cap).

Will degradation have an influence on sensitivity?

I don´t think there are official papers about this, but I have a bit of SA DS lying around on open air in a dark place at 20°C for almost a year now.
I checked it, there are no (for my scale detectable..) changes in weight and no detectable changes in the outer
appearance. The stuff is still very explosive and as sensitive to shock and friction as I know from freshly-made SA DS. I don´t have a drop-testing
apparatus tho.
Under 1000x magnification, the crystals look still the same, very small, short needles.

My advise: Store it under distilled water, and you´ll have no problems.

Underwater storage is out of question with finished caps, but thanks.

Any more suggestions on that matter?
