Just saw on ebay auction. Just type in nitromethane it's 1st hit. Seller seems legit, but is not willing to ship. He lives in central Jersey.

I'm starting to feel like a broken record on these threads, but there is at least one product off the top of my head that is 99% nitromethane, and it
sells for a whopping $8.95 a quart.

DH2 what is that? hobby shops do no sell more than 40% as I've seen because r/c cars never need pure nitromethane, it must contain other ingrediaent
such as oil as a lube.

Here you go, sister. No problems at all with this; just dry it with some 4A molecular sieves (bake them in the oven first) and you should be good to
go.

I know there's also cyanoacrylate removers that are 99% nitromethane as well, but I can't remember t hem off the top of my head right now.

We can easily buy "pure" nitromethane with no additives in liter quantities in western EU, unlike a lot of chemicals under some legal registration
(when not sold as formulated mixtures) this product is easily find for cheap on the shelves of dragsters, rockets and reduced models retailers
allowing anyone to make it's self-mixed fuel... On the other hand methanol is only available for pros, doesn't make sense when you think about it^^
