Non-freeze solvent for phytohormones

Dimethylsulphoxide, or dimethyl sulfoxide, is a great solvent for concentrates of plant hormones because it is both nontoxic to plants and a good solvent. It is annoying, however, at having a fairly high melting point, about 40 degrees.

Does anybody know how much ethanol I would have to add to keep it fluid in the fridge at zero degrees C?

not 40 degrees .... 18 degrees Celsius.

anyway, the answer is that about 22% ethanol is required to drop the melting point of DMSO to zero degrees.
