Hello again.
Does anyone know any method to obtain thymol? I have been looking at the possibility of getting it from thyme, but the steps are too many and possibly
too difficult.
I almost assume I will get carvacrol as a ide-product, but any ideas?

A method to synthesize or extract it, or a place to purchase it?
I found this place with a quick google search Thymol, you would need to check into the t&c's though but it seems as though they will ship only to Canada:

They'll ship to the US. In the upper left-hand corner of the page, it says "This is the Canada store." Just click that and change it to the US store.
They only carrier is UPS. Some of the stuff is so cheap! (mint terpenes - 100mL for $1.20)

In the UK it's sold by Beekeeping supply companies for controlling varroa mites. Nice and cheap, in 100g lots.
So similar companies might sell it in the US.
