Is Phenothiazine an abused drug or can it be used to make abusable drugs.
It used to be sold OTC as a cattle medicine.
I seen it once in a 'watched' chemicals list. (Back of some drug making book.)

Are you sure it was phenothiazine that was used for cattle? For what indication?
Phenothiazine is still available quite cheap from chemicals sellers. I think it being in any way "watched" is just some bullshit somebody made up. It
is a pretty innocuous heterocyclic compound which can not be used to make abusable drugs, as far as I know. It is however still used on the industrial
scale for the production of many important drugs. Some of these drugs are psychoactive, like the CNS depressants used as antipsychotics to zombify
people, while others are antihistaminics, which are well known to have CNS effects and cause acute delirium at high doses. None of these drugs could
be considered pleasant for use, so the idea that phenothiazine could be "watched" as a precursor for illegal drugs doesn't add up, particularly given
I can not think of any drug having a phenothiazine moiety that would be illegal anywhere in the world.

Phonethiazine is used for stomach parasites in cattle and other animals.

It related to Thorazine (trade name) that is sometimes abused according to this link.

The Thorazine can be used in the treatment of depression, vomiting, symptoms of tetanus, cronic hiccups...............

If you were going to make thorazine you would not start from phenothiazine.
