Ok, I have a problem. I wish to distill parsely seed oil to obtain apiole(15.9%) and myristicin(36.6%) but I do not know the b.p. of either. The oil
contains other oils namely: alpha-pinene(16.8%), beta-pinene(12.2%), beta-phellandrene(8.9%) and elemicin(2.3%). How can I tell which fractions are
desireable?

apiole (parsley), bp.: 294°C
myristicin: bp. at 40 torr: 173°C
I guess myristicin cannot be ditilled at STP and apiole should also not be distilled without a well working vacuum source.
This information was taken from the MERCK index which is online AFAIK. For further information I would suggest to go here:

Very few things can be distilled at STP.
The databases run by chemical supply companies for MSDS are a useful source of information too. (Quite often, just typing the compound's name
into Google will get you the Bpt).
