If I hypothetically had 100mL SOCl2 would anyone be interested in purchasing it?

There is a likelihood that someone would be interested in it, but many would like to know you better before purchasing such a chemical.

What is the purity? Did you make it yourself? --Hypothetically of course--

you could be DEA as what we know...

Is thionyl chloride illegal to own? I know it is a section three substance, but is it legal?

@GreenD: What do you really want to ask here? Please be more clear with this?
You have an option of buying 100 ml of SOCl2 for yourself? Well if you have, be happy and buy it. Just assure that it is not shipped by regular post,
but pick up the stuff or arrange special freight shipping (which is expensive). It is not something which can be shipped with normal post.
Although SOCl2 is a CWC-listed material (as a precursor to nerve and blister agents) it only is so in really large quantities. With 100 ml you cannot
do much harm in the sense of making chemical weapons. Besides that, you also need the other precursors, which as far as I know are rather difficult to
obtain phosphorus-organic compounds, but I am not an expert on that, so I could be wrong about the other precursors.
SOCl2 is a nasty chemical, but 100 ml only is a risk to yourself and other persons in the same house.

He just wants to know who would buy this particular chemical; he probably is just curious.

Its kind of a hypothetical hot potato. if you get the analogy, and me being paranoid of potatos in general, I'd like someone else who feels safer with
it... having it.
