My post before this is about some chemicals I’m selling for local pickup only in North Florida, but I also have a Buchi R-153 20L Rotavap, Buchi
R-200, Buchi R-205, Buchi cold trap dry ice/acetone condenser, Buchi V-800 vacuum controller, and a Buchi B-177 Vacuobox. I’m ok with shipping or
having someone pickup any of this up in North Florida. I’m selling all of this because I don’t want to bring it with me when I move, especially
the R-153. I’ll probably reach out to a few local labs to see if they want to buy the R-153 too.
If you're interested in any of this equipment, please U2U message me with an offer. Shipping or local pickup can then be arranged.
Here’s some details on all of this.
The R-153 comes with everything needed and only needs a new seal. You can still find seals for these sporadically online and if you’re desperate
enough, Buchi will custom manufacture one. I took all of it apart and stored everything extremely carefully in lots of cushioning and separate boxes.
The R-153 I have is in amazing condition. Hardly any wear to the main unit paint considering it’s probably from the late 90s. Mine comes with two
full length double coil condensers and I believe I have two 10L receiving flasks. Also have 2-3 20L evaporating flasks. All Buchi brand glass of
course. Comes with all the hard to find clamps and screws for mounting the condensers and receiving flasks. I’ll try to get a photo of the main unit
soon, but for any serious buyers, I can definitely go through the boxes containing everything else to get you photos of any glass, clamps,
miscellaneous components. Believe it or not, I actually have the original manual for this. This R-153 brand new back in the 90s was very expensive. So
even now they are still fairly expensive, between $5k-$15k depending on condition and how many condensers/receiving flasks it has.
The R-200 I have definitely needs a new seal. Only the main unit. Pretty sure it has a vapor duct in it but I can double check.
The R-210 I have is just the main unit which includes a vapor duct. No seal for this but you can easily find Buchi VS-26 seals on eBay cheap and Buchi
still sells the seals for the R-210 on their website.
I have a cold finger dry ice condeser that fits both the R-200 and R-210. So whoever buys one of those first can also decide if they want to add on
this dry ice condenser for a little extra.
And finally, I had a fully functional B-177 Vacuobox. It’s rarely been used but I last tested it a month ago and got a reading on the digital
display of 1-2mbar. It’s a very clean unit and pulls a really hard vacuum. I have an analog vacuum gauge with a new thermocouple on it and I can get
another vacuum reading on that for anyone who’s interested in this B-177.
That’s all for now. I may have a few extra non-Buchi pieces of lab equipment I list for sale soon, but I have to go through what I have stored.
