I just acquired a bunch of old analytical equipment from auction. Too bad the software was not included and local reps of the manufacturing companies
do not want to help at all..
Any ideas where to get a version of "Spectrum" software which can operate 20 year old Perkin Elmer Spectrum BX, preferably on Win7 virtual machine?
Win XP version is okay as well. Also I am looking for Chemstation B.04.03 or newer to run HPLC 1100 with DAD.. (and yes, I am already familiar with
this thread https://www.sciencemadness.org/whisper/viewthread.php?tid=19...)
Any kind of help and fruitful suggestions are appreciated

Can you provide the exact model # and any manuals/data you have about your hardware setup/installation?
A quick google shows a wide range of products under that name

For the Agilent 1100 Series:
DAD - G1315B
ALSTherm - G1330A
ALS - G1320A
QuatPump - G1311A
Degasser - G1322A
I have HP JetDirect 400N J4100A lan card installed in the DAD..
For the PE Spectrum BX, I dont' have anything else but the device itself along with COM cable. It requires "Spectrum software". Probably version 5 to
9 is good; I've read the version 5 is 32bit, and I'm specificailly looking for 64 bit one if there is one available.
For the GC-MS (Agilent 5975C MSD with 7890A GC System), I have G1034C ChemStation which runs on Windows 3.11 .. If anyone wants this ancient software, I can upload the iso image of it somewhere.. Rev C.03.00
And I also need software for Varian Spectra100 (AAS)... Also, preferably something which runs on Win7 (64bit). But again, 32bit is just okay as well..
I did not receive any manuals or anything else with these...
