so, one person i talk to had put in an order for formic acid and ethylenediamine and decided to give labotoriumdiscounter.nl a go
he got a notice that 3 weeks ago it was shipped out and had to harass them to get the tracking code for it, but now receives this. blaming... ukraine
and covid?
the guy who ordered the 2 chemicals- in small amounts lives "1 border" away (theres practically no border between germany and holland)
is this vendor a scam or is this a unique case? just out of curiosity in case i ever find something to order on their site

im just gonna suppose this is the right board to post in since it is about acquiring reagents- through a supplier, or in this case, he didnt.

I noticed their advertisement in YT and wondered if anyone had feedback about them.
Some of their prices are very competitive.
If they are in NL what has got Covid and the war in Ukraine got to do with anything ?

I ordered from them many times, but sometimes they try to cut corners here and there. I once ordered two packages shortly after each other because I
was lazy and decided it was easier to pay for shipping twice than to ask them to put the orders together.
When I asked a couple of weeks later what was taking them so long they answered one item was delayed... Which was the second order, but they were
willing to send the rest ahead, right...
My last order got in in about two weeks and has an item on backorder. Maybe they decided to ship the rest ahead because I asked when they were going
to ship.
Sometimes things take some time, but besides that they are fine, they offer a lot of stuff that would be hard to find somewhere else.

I also ordered from them a few times. Things usually go smooth, but I recognize what Tsjerk writes. Their communication is not very precise and you
may need to remind them sometimes of pending issues.
Their prices are competitive, and the quality of the products is good. Especially for the somewhat more common chemicals, I consider this company a
very useful source.

aha so theyre legitimate, except for maybe being busy with participating in ukraine/russia war- either with their own organic bodies or on facebook.
lets hope its just a brief issue for them. could be they simply didnt have the items around and were too embarrassed to admit to it, thats a bigger
issue than just admitting to it.
i dont quite believe that they would have so much orders, for a marketplace so small as chemistry that they couldnt send off 2 handfulls of chemicals,
half a country away for 3 weeks
