I am trying to make an amine, starting from a bromide. I am trying to find a better solvent than chloroform, preferably one that is environmentally
better than CHCl3. I heard that ethanol can be used in another and that it gives better yields. I was wondering if there was any other solvent that
could be used, because I might have time to test a bunch of solvents for a process that I am trying to optimize.

I have tried ethanol and acetic acid, ethanol was better. Substrate was benzyl chloride.
