I have been working on a synthesis that I found in a video from chemplayer were you react sulfamic acid with methanol under reflux to produce ammonium
methylsulfate. I believe I have gone through the synthesis correctly and I have this nice white product that I have tried to analyze via NMR and FTIR
and I was hoping to get some help with the results. Now I am very reusty with my NMR interpretation so there is where I will need the most help. I am
sure I have done something wrong with the integration, but its just a start. I have included TMS to set my reference to 0 and adjust the other peak
positions accordingly. I was not expecting to get the result I got so any feedback that can be provided would be much appreciated. I am planning on
running GCMS on this as well, but that is still in the works. Thanks in advance!
