Hi guys,
I have 2 short questions I'm hoping will get answered in the forum, since finding this very specific info in books/scifinder was fruitless.
1. what is the water sulubility of Fremy's salt (FS)in water at 0 celcius (or close to that)? FS = K4[ON(SO3)2]2
2. Is there an azeotrope of 1-bromobutane and etheral or hydrocarbon solvent (i.e no alcohols, aceton, DMF, DMSO, DCM and so on). I need to remove it
from an ether solution with an aryl lithium (product) which is soluble in pentane, and slowly reacts with the bromide (SN2).

I know you were all so intrigued by these questions, so here's the answers yours truly has found
1. less than 3 g/L
2. I managed to bypass the problem, not solve it. But when you think about it bypassing is a sort of solution...
