So, I have put together a list of items that I want to use to build my fume hood. Some things are also missing since I don't know what
exactly I need for some of the other things on the list, I might have forgotten them or maybe I didn't even know I needed them. Here's my
list so far:
Corrosion resistant pipe fan with 1750 m3/h efficiency
2x Pertinax hard paper phenol resin, length x depth x height, 500 x 250 x 5mm for work space (floor) and ceiling
Acrylic glass pane 500 x 250 x 3mm as a movable window
3x stainless steel plates 250 x 500 x 1mm for back wall and side walls
Total price would be 119,36€ right now.
I was wondering if that sounds like a good set of things?
And here comes a bunch of other questions:
Out of which cheap material could I build the exterior?
Is the fan too strong?
How would I go about actually installing the fan?
Where do I lead the gasses?
Is there anything else I should know?
Sorry for the many questions, but I really don't know how to do this.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Read the entire thread about fume hood construction and then come back and ask. All of the information you need is there.
