Calling on all Sciencemadness members
I have been visiting this discussion board for about 2 years. As you can see, I haven't been posting much, but I have read many topics. There is a
wealth of information in this table, on elements, compounds, experiments, acquisition of chemicals, apparatus, as well as more specialised topics.
However one drowns in this information. It is truly an invaluable source, with information from so many sources, which is often difficult to find
concentrated elsewhere.
My proposal is this:
To make a new category like chemistry in general, which will work like an official index page, categorizing pages in different topics
with regard to elements (e.g. Producing sodium), compounds (e.g. the eponymous Lead Salts Thread), apparatus acquisition etc.
I am hearing thoughts and suggestions

The issue is that people need to know how to search. An individual who is searching correctly will find what they need. The simplest thing for
someone who has these concerns - is to synopsizes the issues and develop a solution in their post.
For instance: when you search do you understand what a Boolean search is and when & how to use it? Do you understand the advanced criteria in the
search? Is the search provided with limitations? This will alleviate the "access to information issue" without more work for moderators.
