I will say that you should not be so dumb that you ask after the fact if your facemask/respirator is the correct one.
Whether a facemask/respirator is needed at all is something that is decided before a reaction. The reaction needs to be understood well enough for you
to decide on the proper protective gear.

I ask this question after the fact not only because I want to know about how protective a gas mask is against sulfur dioxide but if it is actually
safe to use for other toxic gases. |
