variacs

I am selling 3-4 variacs for $60 US plus shipping. These are heavy bastards!

So 60 Hz, assume 110V in, might mention the current rating for the N.A. crowd.

/sigh,

I'm sure they must be 110V in, country of manufacture?

edit--lol actually are you selling 3 or 4?

I once had a heavy, used variac delivered---it had a large dent on its side, and I found later that one of the brushes was broken and this damaged the track. . .
It was probably dropped in transit but better packing might have made some difference!
Hope I don't put anyone off. . .

@hissingnoise: I didn't send that one to you did I?
We'll pack the living shit out of them. We assume the transporters hire skateboarders on drugs that play football with all the packages and kick field goals with the ones marked, "Fragile-This side up."

It's more than ten years ago chemrox; a Claude Lyons machine, but it travelled only about 180Km. . .
I still have it and might try rewinding the core someday!
