Nessler cylinders (also called Color comparison cylinders, Color comparing cylinders) are laboratory tubes with a fixed volume, made of glass with optically plane bottom.

General
A Nessler cylinder has the appearance of a long beaker or graduated cylinder without scale. On the walls of the cylinder there are marks of the nominal stroke volume (usually 100 ml) and possibly one half-way mark (50 ml).
