Lead rings are circular metallic rings, made of [[steel]] or [[lead]] (as its name suggests), coated in vinyl or some other protective coating. Some models are not completely closed, and instead have a C-shaped form.

==DIY lead ring==
A simple lead ring can be made by taking a metallic ring and coating it in a protective layer, such as Plasti Dip.

The metal for the ring could be either a large steel ring, thinly cut metal pipe, an old and cleaned large (ball) bearing, a circular bent rebar, a piece of car suspension spring, etc. Lastly, one can cast one such ring using molten lead (or [[tin]], [[zinc]], etc.), then coat the resulting item in paint or some other protective paint.
