Recovery of Palladium from PdCl2 with NaBH4 or Formic acid?
I have a little PdCl2 i want to convert to the metal.
Since PdCl2 is sparingly soluble in water, would it make sense to dissolve it in NaCl solution to make NaPdCl4, then reduce it with NaBH4 or Formic
acid?
Has anybody ever successfully tried this?
Any other suggestions on how to make elemental Pd from this (except thermal decomposition, that's not an option) are highly welcome!

Hydrogen will rapidly reduce it.
Failing that, pH 5 boiling sodium formate solution.
