What to do with a microscale chem kit
Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled upon an older Pyrex micro chemistry kit (Cat number: 6949) that is missing several parts.
With the remaining parts I'm able to setup a tiny 1ml reflux apparatus and a gas generator.
I currently can't think of any outstanding uses for it other than a neat looking setup on my shelf. so if anyone has any ideas of reactions or
synthesis that would be reasonable to carry out on a micro-scale that would be awesome!

The nice thing about micro-scale experiments is that they don't cost a fortune, I think one of the best reactions to do that with would be the
synthesis if methyl salicylate. Or since you are working on such a small scale it's easier and safter (and less expensive) to do more dangerous
reactions like phosphorus tribromide, and methyl iodide.
