Envirocat catalyst series

Some articles and books mention Envirocat catalyst and particulary EPZG for dehydration. But I was not able to find any details about what this catalyst actually is. It is a clay, most likely, and it exhibits both bronster and lewis acid properties. That's all I know. Official site says almost nothing http://www.contract-chemicals.com/envirocats.html
If this catalyst is so good - why is it rarely mentioned? Or maybe they are not so good as articles say?
