dimethyldioxirane

has someone seen a patent or some other literature about dimethyldioxirane synthesis?
I was able to find that DMDO is produced by oxone oxidation of acetone , but no details on rxn conditions and duration... can someone help me with that references?

It is desribed or at least referenced in just about any paper where DMDO is used. Oxone with a carbonate buffer in acetone or acetone/CH2Cl2 is used. DMDO is generaly not isolated as there is no need whatsoever to do that. It is formed in situ. Just read any paper where DMDO is used.

…there is a human touch of the cultist “believer” in every theorist that he must struggle against as being unworthy of the scientist. Some of the greatest men of science have publicly repudiated a theory which earlier they hotly defended. In this lies their scientific temper, not in the scientific defense of the theory. - Weston La Barre (Ghost Dance, 1972)
