Brand New Pyrex Beakers For Sale

That whole bulk order thing that Zombie started never really came together, but I still really wanted some beakers, so I ordered a couple of cases myself. I got one case of 250 mL ones, and one case of 150's. I'm keeping 4 of each for myself, so I still have 20 of each size available. For some reason, the 150 mL beakers were actually more expensive from where I bought them from, so, the prices for each are as follows:

250 mL: $3.20 each
150 mL: $3.40 each

I can unfortunately only ship to the continental US, and the price does not include shipping. I'm not looking to make a profit here, I just wanted some inexpensive but high quality beakers. The costs listed cover what I paid for the beaker and the fraction of the shipping cost that I paid for each one.

U2U me if you're interested in buying some.

Yes, that's true, but also it's a lot farther to ship, so there's a greater chance of something breaking, and thus I have to use more packing material and a larger box. Plus by the time international shipping costs are factored in, it's probably going to be too expensive to be worth it for the recipient. If you really want to buy some though, feel free to U2U me and we can probably work something out.

Please look up how much it'd cost to post say 4 beakers to Spain (don't forget packaging weight)

That'll be a good guide for all European destinations.

I checked, and shipping to Spain would be between $40-$60, based on the USPS international shipping cost calculator. It really depends on how many beakers are bought and how small of a box I can fit them in safely. If you only wanted one or two, it could be as low as $20, but who wants to pay that much for beakers? I think it would only be worth it if you wanted to buy a lot of beakers (I could send a 12 pack) and then redistribute with other European members. At that point though, it would be cheaper and make more sense to buy some directly from a company.

In my experience those calculators always over-shoot the price by a good 30-40%.
I'd of bought several beakers last month, but I'm stocked up now.

Dang, too bad I didn't get them a month ago. And yeah, the international one might not be super accurate, but the domestic one has always been spot on for me.

Yeah, no problem aga, sorry that it didn't work out.
---
Just a heads-up: I'll be out of town between tomorrow and next Thursday. Still feel free to U2U me if you're interested; I may even get back to you since I'll probably have access to the forum where I'll be. I won't start shipping orders until next Friday though.

I can ship overseas, so let me check on the real postage to Spain, it should not be over $30, and for 4 beakers, should be much less. I have some new Pyrex ones in 250 ml, and a couple of other sizes left now.

Yes, I should be able to do that. Although I said originally that I'd only ship to the continental US, I've changed my mind now. Canada should be no problem. Anywhere else, I can still do it, but it may not be worth it.

Hey now Dr.Bob, I just recalculated based on the actual weight of 4 well-packed beakers (which was considerably less than I thought it would be) and the shipping cost to Spain is actually about $17. So I'm still open to shipping to Europe if anyone actually wants to pay that much for shipping.

Bumpity bump

I still have a bunch of beakers available. I'm lowering the price to $3.00 each for either size, and offering half-price shipping if you order more than 4. Soon I'm going to update my reagents thread with lower prices, so be sure to check that too.
