Automation of an electric heater
I have been trying to google this all day but I can't find a simple answer.
What my dream is: that I will be able to hook up my space heater to a relay which is connected to a clock so that it starts up a 6:00 every day and
shuts down at 7:00. From what I have learned over the internet that I will probably need to use a Raspberry Pi instead of audrino because audrino has
no internal clock.
I am fairly unfamiliar with both systems but I am willing to learn enough to finish the project! 
Any help on the matter is appreciated!

A simple time switch with a wattage rating suitable for a heater should suffice!
The low wattage controller shown would need a contactor to cope with the extra wattage . . .

Aren't space heaters less than 1500 watts generally?
Not that I'd actually trust an aquarium power strip, just pointing out this type of thing is readily available.

There are all sorts of wall outlet timers available.

You could also add a PID to control temperature.
