That is extremely interesting. I noticed something in there that made me wonder... regarding H2S, they said:
"it's simply an agent that all of us make in our bodies all the time to buffer our metabolic flexibility."
I guess I'd better brush up on my metabolic pathways. I didn't think there was much H2S floating around in our bodies... you know,
worse-than-HCN and all...

thats interesting. does anyone know exactly how H2S and HCN inhibit oxidative phosphorylase?

HCN and H2S both inhibit cytochrome oxidase, which I believe occurs via attack of the heme iron.
