eBay mistake?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Empty-bottle-with-250g-label-of-Al...

Is the price on this a mistake, or am I missing something?

Methinks this is a bit of a ruse to get around ebay's anti-pyrotechnics regulations. I imagine those in the know don't pay short of £800 and don't receive an empty bottle...

In fact, if you look at the 'sold' page, the price drops to £7.99...

Some of the sellers market the empty boxes, but ships it with the content, as a way to fool regulations etc..

This is usually done with regulated stuff like iodine, phosphorous, precursors and the like. But I've seen more and more of pyrotech chems listed this way lately.

Though this may or may not be the case in this listing the price is insane and my guess is that is a error in setting the price, but it is obvious that they will ship you the can AND the chemical..

i noticed some sellers increase the price of a temporarily out of stock item by several orders of magnitude to ensure no one bids on it, in order not to remove the entry.
