Other forums

Recently I've been researching very old threads about roguesci, E&W and other probably closed forums. I had a hard time understanding much from those articles, so I have some questions.
So, is it true that roguesci and E&W were shut down? Do you have access to archives with information from these forums?
And can you recommend me some other chemistry-related forums?

As far as I know, the E&W forum archive is still up. Besides the drug cookery and Neonazism, there isn’t really much information they had that isn’t here on SM.

A decent set of forums can be found here: https://www.scienceforums.net/

It has a chemistry section, but also many other sections. There are quite a few interesting posts, although there also are threads, just for doing one's homework. The forum is moderated quite well. There is no cookery and certainly no neonazism on these forums.

What distinguishes sciencemadness from scienceforums is that sciencemadness is much more geared towards doing experiments yourself, at home, in an amateur lab. Scienceforums certainly has no negative attitude to (responsible) homescience, but the people over there are more inclined to think of science, done at a university lab or some big company's lab.

LambdaSyn (https://www.lambdasyn.org, in German) has a nice set of syntheses on the main page.

chemport.ru (if you can read Russian; I don't and have to deal with the sub-standard Google translations) is interesting also, and has some info that can be hard to get by (think of late Soviet-era chemistry journals that haven't been translated yet) in non-Slavic languages.

Here is a link to a very good chemistry forum, in German:
https://illumina-chemie.org/
Only compared to Sciencemadness the frequency of posts is lower here.
