i have a kilogram of edc hcl that i plan on discarding due to it being hygroscopic and me going back to college , if any fellow person on here wants it , i will give it to you for free u just have to pay shipping of 7.25, usps standard. reply to this if u want it because i will throw it out next week before heading back to college.

It’s a reagent used for amide and ester couplings (see Steglich esterification). Really useful thing to have actually and not something that’s that easy to get. If I was actively doing home chem I would snap this up, but I will leave it open to someone who will get more use out of it.

I'd pay the shipping if no one else wants it, but I'm not a very good organic chemist, so I'll let someone who will make better use have it.

If no one else wants it though, no point in throwing away perfectly good reagents.
