Useful / Interesting Lab Manual
While doing a literature search today I ran across the attached lab manual. I did not note its origins but there are lots of interesting experiments.
Of particular interest to some of the members here will be the section on natural products. Have fun looking at this and perhaps doing some of the
experiments.

It looks to be nicely at my level. Although I am missing the stock of reagents required. However, I am sure that I can find some interesting things
in there that I can do.
Thanks.

Thanks for sharing!
I took a quick look and it looked quite interesting. I've been trying to do some organic chemistry and it's good to find medium complexity experiments
like these. The chemistry of C-C bonds is like greek to me

Flavonoids extraction.
Definitely going to have a look at that ! The pills I get from the pharmacy are huge (almost the size of a small car!), I've been wondering why for a
while.

Thank you, Sir.
I only had time to give it a brief look but it looks to contain some nice synths.
I am sure it will be helpful for many.

This is excellent, even without having any acetic anhydride on-hand. I think some people 'round here may have a problem with their use of the word,
"filtrate," though

I'll give them a pass because English clearly isn't their first language.
Please remember: "Filtrate" is not a verb.

Isolation of natural compounds is my interest here. I just finished an extraction of quercetin from onion skins and this is giving me some fresh
ideas. Thanks!
Flavonoid supplements are often dosed around 500mg PLUS other things like the enzyme bromelain, so by the time you have all that packed into a pill
then it can be quite hard to swallow.
