Cadmium polychalcogenides? + Photo /sulfur and selenium
I make this compounds two month ago. Reddish-Brown maybe is cadmium polyselenide. I use sodium polyselenide solution and cadmium sulfate monohydrate.
I use excess selenium to prevent the formation of cadmium hydroxide. I dont know this compound exact formula. I think it is a mixture of different
polyselenides, because cadmium selenide is red solid. Second one is cadmium polysulfide (?) everything is similar.
