Electrolytic sulphur

what the hell is electrolytic Sulphur? how to make it? any link with data welcomed.

No, elemental sulfur does not conduct electricity and is not an electrolyte but I want Sulphur conducting electricity!!

No, I do not want to break Sulphur in gases, sulfuric acid...

:)

I google search turned up some info, here are 3 papers on conductive sulfur cathodes. Is that along the lines of what you are looking for?

Improved lithium-ion and electrically conductive sulfur cathode for all-solid-state lithium–sulfur batteries

Sulfur cathode material conductivity improving by carbons admixture: technology and characterization

A high-energy sulfur cathode in carbonate electrolyte by eliminating polysulfides via solid-phase lithium-sulfur transformation

I tried uploading the PDFs but I got an error every time.

"Conductive sulfur" is inevitably on some kind of support, usually nanostructured carbon. These cathodes are not easy to make.

And what are the advantages of such cathodes?

I think it is important to distinguish which type of conductivity the sulfur has here. These papers are about lithium ion conductive sulfur (polysulfide) cathodes mixed with with an electrical or electrical and lithium-ion conductive carbon. I doubt there are electrically conductive sulfur or polysulfides at standard temperature and pressure.

ok, "Electrolytic sulphur" is from a guy labeling this in pedantic mode :)

unless a "mutation" take place in Sulphur, Sulphur do not coduct elec.

thanks but not is good for my mixing S. with other chems to make the trick
