Caricatures of Scientists
Hi!
I've been working on a collection of caricatures of great historical figures that includes many scientists (above is a sample).
Now, I need some feedback about the drawings and some advice about some options of the business that are still open. So, I prepared a brief
presentation of the ideia, with some few direct questions about it.
For those of you who are willing to help me, here it is my caricatures presentation. It will take you just 2 or 3 minutes.
I would be most appreciated if you give me your advice!

OMG - what have you done to poor Maria Curie?
She was a woman who oozed femininity but you've made her look mannish - how could you???
On this particular one, I think a return to the drawing board is in order. . .
Overall though, your drawings are quite good!

I think the idea is brilliant, but...
Marie Curie did not have either a large forehead nor a wide face...
Caricatures usually exaggerate such points if there are already there.
I had a caricature done of me once, I had a huge nose. But that's ok, because my nose is big.

I personnaly don't see her like that in the drawing, but any opinion is valid.
I guess the funny thing about this is the different looks people can have. It has been surprising to know what people see can be so different.

The size is not all that matters. We can have a part of us that is more expressive of our image without being big and this makes the caricature a
little more complex. I personally recognize my view of Marie Curie in this way, but I don't discuss it, I accept others don´t.
