Anyone looked into or tried storing Na or K under turpentine or brake fluid (mineral or silicon based) ?

I know it's an old thread but it seemed like the best one to tag on the end of..

I found a bottle of Na stored under paraffin which I thought was lost over 5 years ago and it was still in mint condition. It appears that if you don't let temperature fluctuate, it will hold well.
