I really enjoy this thread. SM mostly stays away from "pharma type" chemicals and there's good reason for that. However, your effort of cataloging the
various neurochemicals that plants and fungi naturally make is appreciated.
My favorite of your list so far is Hodgkinsine. I'd take a guess that it would replace kratom if kratom is fully illegal and scheduled.

akuamma is normally used as the replacement of kratom In places where it is illegal it is very similar herb that is from Africa unlike Kratom which is
from Asia. They are very similar in that they are both partial opioids.
I put a lot of effort in this thread I was frustrated that there is so little research being done on these plants due to synthetic equivalent
compounds already existing but now researches are discovering that there are better and safer alternatives from nature
So little information is found about many of the herbs I think it has to do with cost if a pharma company need to make a compound it is made
syntheticly rather than extracted

I have almost two kilos of akuamma(I even got a fresh fruit directly from a German farmer in Ghana but sadly the seeds haven't germinated without
going through an elephants digestive system) but I have to say, its not a replacement for kratom.
It is pretty good against pain and cold and the flu, and thats really where its strength is, but it is not an euphoric opioid in the same manner as
kratom.

well it has more to do with variation in dosage and potency, it is difficult to get a accurate clinical does with a plant as nature feels no need to
abide by our dosing measures, one way to compensate is to make large batch, titrate the dose, then use that batch at established dose.
Then be sure to prepare the next batch and do the same in advance befor the first runs out, with purified extracts that been concentrated this extra
labor and testing becomes irrelevant as you know the exact amount of compound per dose.
and by just making the compound you skip the rest of the cultivation step and then extraction steps.
Good knowledge to have indeed as humans seem to be getting dumber as a whole I'd prefer to take care of my own medical needs and any system that says
I can't will get helpful suggestions of where I will place my boot!

This is absolutetly impressive. I would like to learn more about the methods you use for extraction, preservation and handling of your plant
materials. I am extremely interested in this subject because we are restoring an old citrus orchard in the tropics and the array of diversity is
incredible, more so when you consider that even the tiniest weed can rid you of worms or contain otherwise interesting components.

I try to keep things sterile I've havnt done any extraction of pure compounds been too busy. I've just made solution of the herb by using an
ultrasonic bath and some everclear
I have a small 30W dehumidifier and try to save the silica gel packs I try to keep a sterile environment. Mold is aggressive in humid environments. I
found that alot of this information was scattered around so I tried to compile it from scientific papers which paywalls are a real pain.
