It seems like the second post about leaching with alcohol is on to something the problem is there is an activator that is added to the sodium
carbonate that forms peracetic acid in situ

If you have it without the activator then ethyl acetate can be used to extract hydrogen peroxide leaving behind the insoluble sodium carbonate the
same can be true with sodium perborate and urea peroxide.
Interesting note strontium peroxide is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohol.
On the serine hydrogen peroxide adduct I found it can be frozen out.
solubility of D/L-Serine in boiling water is 32.2g/100g and at 0°C is 2.2g/100g,

Would it be possible by any means to make urea H2O2 adduct with percarb and urea? With borate it works due to low solubility.
