Sorry man I just checked the boiling point and it is 40°C no need for vacuum.

Like Watson I really don't understand what you're on about.DCM boils at 40C,atmospheric distillation should be adequate.
If you are dealing with a particularly heat sensitive compound just use the aspirator in conjunction with a warm water bath.
Alternatively you can simply use a fan blowing across an evaporating dish if you are prpared to sacrafice the solvent.(open air,dont inhale
obviously.)
