regarding thoughts on scihub ?
hello, obviously this isn't directly chemistry related but I guess more of an informal poll, particularly for those involved in academic publishing.
what are your thoughts on the scihub website ?

I’ve found it extremely helpful. I’ve gained access to many papers I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. So many academic papers are
inaccessible without some kind of membership or having to pay. I think it’s a great thing!
You can’t claim you drank all day if you didn’t start early in the morning.

My only disappointment with it is that it hasn't been updated with new papers in a few years (since about 2021, I think).

Good, but it has its limitations.
Extremely useful for individuals without access otherwise.
I can access most of the research papers I want to read, but there are journals the university isn't subscribed to, and for these Sci-Hub is useful.
Although sometimes Sci-Hub can't find the article either.
