The time capsule still exists
The ampoule is as if I made it yesterday, still two layers. I consider the experiment as being over and the outcome is decided, but I keep the ampoule
as a nice reminder of this experiment. Maybe one day I can tell my grandchildren (they still must be conceived and born ) about this long term experiment and show them the ampoule . . .

Its interesting that SO2Cl2 is not miscible with H2SO4. Do you know is SO2Cl2 is miscible with chlorosulfonic acid (I assume the chlorosulfonic acid
is miscible with H2SO4)?

did u mark the liquid level? also putting the vial horizontally can increase the phase boundary area to speed up rxn if it actually happens.
