Liquid/Gasses in Test Tubes
Howdy,
I been thinking about trying to seal some gasses in the liquid/gas phase in some glass test tubes. I really don't what to maim myself in the process
so I'm looking for sources/advice on how to do it safety. Both Google and Scholar searches have let me down. Does anyone have idea on sources or has
done this safely before? Thanks in advance.

Cody's Lab has a number of videos with supercritical CO2 as well as other relatively high pressure ampouled gases.
A number of people here have ampouled chlorine.
I am not sure of any write-ups or tutorials on it. There probably are some.
My advice is to find and watch as many videos as possible. Sealing in glass is an art and knowing what it should look like is a big deal.
Then start off by getting your ampouling technique right with stuff that is non-hazardous first. Only then move on to volatile liquids, hazardous
substances, high pressure ampoules.
