annealing of 50cm chromatography column, ideas?
for my graduation my friends bought me a 50cm glass gravity chromatography column, it looks huge. I've never used it yet as i'm still making the
silica gel powder for it. since i broke an addition funnel while trying to repair it, i check all my glassware for internal stress, i just look at the
piece of glassware between a polarizing filter and my laptop screen showing a white background. checking this column i noticed some pretty evident
stress rings

i would hate to break it while using it, so i'd like to anneal it somehow.
any ideas on how in a home envirorment?

You're only going to make it worse. Chromatography columns aren't heated so it will be fine.
