Is there any special use or any test to be done to analyse hexamine nickel (II) chloride
I just made some hexamine nickel (II) chloride and u wanted to know whether there is any test to identify it.
Besides it's beautiful color though

If you want to confirm that's what it is, you can weigh a small sample of it, carefully heat it to get anhydrous nickel(II) chloride, and check to see
if the mass lost corresponds to six equivalents of ammonia.
Keep it in a sealed container, though, as it will lose ammonia upon standing.
Please remember: "Filtrate" is not a verb.
