I do not want to move to other countries
I do not want to move to other countries.
My small country is becoming very damaged. It was originally a very good and nice country. But now everything changed. They are all due to my
government, the neighbour country and the treasoning lawmakers. Fuck them all. They shall all be tried in Nuremburg and go to hell. Because they made
many people suffer. So many came out to fight for us. Many are hurt. Many sacrifised. Many want to move to other countries to have better lives. But I
do not. I love my country so much so I want to stay in my small country.
sorry for bad english

I am not sure how anyone can respond meaningfully to this without knowing some detail of where you live or some specifics of what is happening.
I would move this to whimsy except that you don't have access.
If you want to provide enough information for a disxussion then that will be fine. Otherwise, this thread can sink like a stone with no further
responses.

I understand. It looks insane what has been happening and I completely understand what why there was so much resistance.
Does the date 6/4/1989 ring a bell to you (specific to mainland?) (well it was really 4/15 until 6/4 but the main event was 6/4 - 6/5

I know about 8964, but that's not our 1st priority thing to care about. It happened in another country before the handover. What we currently need is
universal suffrage, not simply the government "withdraw" the bill.

I didn't mean it was related to the current protests I was just curious how far the firewall had reached, if it had extended to HK or not.
I know it doesn't sound fun,but I think it best to continue the protest while you have momentum & awareness, if it stops, there is no knowing if
there will ever be another chance.

You need to be careful, political discussion is actually against the rules here.

If you will read the sticky on posting in this sub forum?

This is for legal & societal issues as they relate to AMATEUR SCIENCE.
Rapopart’s Rules for critical commentary:
1. Attempt to re-express your target’s position so clearly, vividly and fairly that your target says: “Thanks, I wish I’d thought of putting it
that way.”
2. List any points of agreement (especially if they are not matters of general or widespread agreement).
3. Mention anything you have learned from your target.
4. Only then are you permitted to say so much as a word of rebuttal or criticism.

The youth of HK are destroying their own futures - very sad.
and they are so stupid to become pawns in the global dominance wars,
.. they have doomed themselves to poverty for the forseeable future.

Sulaiman's 2nd line is wrong. About a Malaysian saying such things, I won't be surprise. Malaysia very love CCP, they want HK die (to be control by
CCP forever).
To connect this back to chemistry: I do not want to move to another country, not only I love our culture, also hard to move chemicals.

I am British, not Malaysian,
and you are to young and too ignorant of history to understand collonial rule of HK
P.S. I was in HK in the '80's for pleasure and the ealy '90's for business,
you should talk to your parents to understand.

In terms of prosperity, one of the issues you're concerned about, it is in your best interest to seek an end to the unrest and somehow apologize.
How Trump has been depicted to you as a savior is not based in reality. I agree with Sulaiman that you are being used as a pawn, in a loosing
situation.
I'd expect the academics in power in China will continue their capitalism experimentation in a segmented way regarding HK; your chemical trade
unaffected.
