Well how is it made industrially and in labs? All I can find is how is it made inside cells from L-glutamic acid.
If u start with l-glutamic acid(which is readily available) then one needs to decarboxylate it, but how is this done? Just heating it in highboiling
point solvent?(what could this be and how long and what temperature is required) or do we need some catalyst at saction here.
Other synthesis i found involved schiff base, but i reckon there are easier methods available aswell.
