Growing potassium nitrate KNO3 crystals

i am looking for an habit modifier to grow crystals of KNO3. right now i get a median of 100 micron while my target is aproximately 300 micron. do you know about some kind of habit modifier for KNO3?

Have you tried modifying the solvent eg using 10% alcohol?
