You could start with a reducer on the 45/40 e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reducing-Piece-Kern-on-Shell-w-050...
(not the cheapest, just an example of choices)
then use a common 24/40 still head adapter ?
The reducing adapter could also be used for refluxing etc. so it seems a useful bit of kit in your case.

I have never seen quite that combination. I do have some adapters and some distillation heads, but still am not quite sure what you want. Is the
rbf a 45/50 and your condenser is 24/40? Or 29/32? I have lots of 29/42 adapters which is the longer verion of that size.

hi,
yes the rbf is 45/40 and condensers are 24/40 or 29/32
I want one of this with a 45/40 and the other 24/40 or 29/32.

I check many times over the years some glassware suppliers and ebays and never see this combo, but until now I never used rbf with 45/40, now for a
project I need this combo, the distillate is very hard to ascend and if more temp more burning of the mater and I want to avoid this at maximum.
Adapters are a barrier, a problem...
