increasing nitric acid from O3 generator
Can anyone tell me how to increase the nitric acid production of an ozone generator? Ive managed to lower the ph level of a textile water from 12.5ph
down to 9.6ph already just by ozonation using air, however i seem to have difficulty lowering the ph down to 8.0ph. Im using A 15kv NST and a
concentric pyrex glass tube 2' in diameter about 2 feet long, i'm producing some arc and pumping air using a 70 liter per min air pump.
PROBLEM IS : HOW CAN I INCREASE THE NITRIC ACID PRODUCTION OF MY O3 GEN. Can anybody help? thanks

Well, stop making O3 for one. Give the Birkland-Eyde reactor thread a read...

Getting nitric acid??
Here's one method:
Firstly, you oxidise a 1:9 ammonia/air mixture, probably with a catalyst (Pt), to get nitric oxide and water as products.
After that, oxidise this nitric oxide to get nitrogen dioxide. This should be done at low temperatures.
Then, add water to the cooled nitrogen dioxide and there you go, nitric acid.
