Carboxylate as nucleophile in 1,4 addition?

Hello!
I was wondering if anyone has seen an example of a carboxylate acting as a nucleophile in a 1,4-addition with an a,b unsaturated ester?

Curious that I cannot find anything.. is the carboxylate simply too poor a nucleophile?

I did a Reaxys search, and there were only very few examples:

Thanks! that is actually reassuring.

Totally forgot about Reaxys -- my SciFinder results were not very informative
