Powdered 3A sieves?
Ordered a Kg of 3A sieves. They arrived and are a white, free flowing powder, not the granules I'm used to. Does the powder work the same?

Yes, only faster because of the greater access of a solvent to the surface of the material rather than having to diffuse into microporous structure of
the pellets.
It can be a bit difficult to filter sometime if its too fine but if its a free flowing powder it doesn't sound that fine

The powder has higher dispensability so it absorbs quicker. The only real difference is that the powder can be a bit more difficult to filter off.

If you have n-butanol, powdered 3A sieves are good for drying it.
